    SLI 7800s or single 8800?

Been running my current system (should show up under my profile) for about 2 years now, it's getting a bit slow on some of the games (NFS: PS, UT3). I wanted to make it last a little bit longer and was wondering if it's worthwhile getting another 7800 and SLI it, or just buy something like an 8800 (which is DX10 compatible IIRC)?

    Opinions?
    Cheers,
    Tom

Depends on how much you can find a another 7800GTX for, but probably not.

I had SLi 7800GTXs and my replacement single 8800GTX absolutely crushes them.

Sell the 7800GTX and put the money towards a 8800GT 512MB. Or just keep it, buying another so you have £100 worth of old tech isn't worth it.

8800 will easy beat the 7800's

New GTS 512mb is a bit better than the GT and less than £210
