9600pro or 9600xt (better) if you can get one for that money. Great overclockers both of them. Superb direct x 9.0 cards- perfect for hl2 and of course the xt gives you a voucher for free copy :D
Either way get the 128mb version as it'l be faster (better memory)
komplett have the 9600 xt for £100 linkeh (click link twice), as a weekly special :)

I think the card posted doesn't have half life 2 bundled with it (or any other things you noramlly get). If you want to get the full bundle, cpucity.co.uk offer a 9600XT for £114

ah fair enough, i thought XT was slang for 'bundled with hl2' heh :), my bad.

The one posted is a Lite version. The Sapphire website says:
"Full retail indicates that the package contains the entire bundle including the Game software bundle and utilities. The Lite retail versions do not come bundled with the software bundle and are packaged with the neccessities needed to enjoy the pinnacle in performance from Sapphire alone."

Although you might still get hl2 with the Lite version. If anyone has bought the Lite Version, please enlighten us!
I got the lite retail from ebuyer and it does include the voucher for hl2 just no software bundle eg games :)Quote:

I have that very card so im sure. Cant tell you just how good this is and especially at that price. Its a brilliant overclocker to though i cannot confirm it myslef due to lack of mad graphics overclocking skilz ;)
Now we just need hl2... :p
id be tempted to hang on for a few months if i were you cus new gfx cards are being released b4 hl2 comes out, which means you might poss be able to get a 9700/9800 pro for the same(ish) money.
very lil chance of getting a 9700 pro but a 9800pro is a possiblitiy in the near future...
ive got an ati 96000xt and i can play call of duy with max af and aa at 1200x 1100 or whatever that resolution is.
