ATI AIW 9600pro
Here's my set up;
Aspire X-Dreamer II Black
Abit AI7 Mobo
2x512mb Kingmax pc3500
P4 2.6c
Aerocool hsf
4 fans
ATI AIW 9600Pro
200g Hitachi 7200rpm 8mb buff
80g WD 7200rpm
I've successfully oc'd to 3.25mhz without any hangups, probably will push a bit further and mess with the vcore a bit. However, I'm now turning my sites on my g card. Could someone let me know, from your experience the best way to oc it? I've no experience with oc'ing the g cards. What are the optimal settings, and where do the temps show up for the card?
Cheers

download Radlinker (http://www28.brinkster.com/chrisww1942/), this will give u tab in the display settings window which allows you to adjust the core and memory mhz. Increase the sliders little by little. Play a game/run 3dmark and check for artifacts. I tend to go for the maximum i can get the core to go to and then start on the memory.
Ive got mine up to 500/330. in my sig its says the mem is at 340 but i found i had a few same dot like artifacts at this setting.

Are the artifacts all your concerned with? What about the heat? Can I monitor the temps there and how hot is too hot?

to monitor temps you will need to by something like a fan monitor as they usually come with temp sensors on. ive heard of people running rads at 80C but thats not advisable. i cant tell you what is safe and what isnt because i dont honestly know. its just a case of playing games for a long period of time to see if everything is 100% stable.
