    problems with Hercules 9800 AIW

Hi, newbie here, great website btw!

After reading the review of the Herculest Prophet 9800 AIW on this site, I decided to go out and get myself one Problem is, after installing the card, and installing all the latest drivers, I have a really strange problem with the DMA on my hard disk. whenever I start the TV, using the toolbar for easylook, a dialogue box appears and tells me that my hard drives are not DMA enabled and that I should check system properites to make sure. However, I am 90% certain that my drives are. I look in the system properties and it says my drives are currently set on UDMA 133. Any ideas why this might be? Anyone had similar problems and how did you solve it? I have 2 maxtor drives btw, if that helps. I have searched google, and ati.com but have had no luck. Only tells you how to enable UDMA but doesn't say much else.

Also, when I use component leads to connect my PS2 to the computer, the picture I get isn't very clear - it's a little fuzzy. Is this normal? I am using a TFT monitor so I know that makes the picture not as good, but still I was hoping a little better.

Any feedback on this would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Hi

I think theres a patch out somewhere for the ATi AIW cards that sorts out some issues... have you tried installing that?
