Do you think the currency conversion works that way?
It never has and never will for UK buyers.

Except if people were not willing to pay the UK "bonus" they would price the card cheaper.

I don't think they are asking for a majority, even within the niche enthusiast market, for a flagship product like the X2. The 8800 Ultra still go from £420.59 all the way to £562.68 on Scan. I reckon the 'average' cost is probably closer to £500 than £450. Allegedly, some people are paying that sort of money for a graphic card. So I would find it fairly believable that this card would go for a sum closer to £400 than £300 even if it is marked at just under £300 even if it end up costing 399 Euro elsewhere. But hey, I don't mind being wrong on this.

I doubt it will go for anywhere near 450.

Meh. It's not a problem.
Re: "ATI Radeon HD 3870 X2 - Fastest yet"...
Im guessing some one clicked the wrong button as they where shutting down their PC and going home.
That price is a joke to be honest!

It's not completely crazy, but I'd wait a few days until a few other places start showing stock.

You reckon it's too expensive or you reckon it's cheap? Personally I think it's a good deal. Although I would never buy an MSI product even though it makes little difference with graphics cards.

Its way too expensive.
I got my two 3870 XTs for £80 less than that.
Might as well put in some extra an get an x38 with two 3870
