    Colours gone weird....

    Is it just me or are there other HD3850 users out there that have colour issues on there sytems...

    I've been thinking I'm cracking up lately, installed drivers for 3850 and some text colours have changed on forums etc..


    Anyone else, know bug, me going blind?

    Ah so it isnt just me then
    When I installed my 3870 some text changed colour not annoying but a bit strange!

    It a confliction between the HD3800 series drivers and Windows 'Standard' type smoothing.

    Display Properties > Appearance > Effects...

    You can either change 'Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts' to 'ClearType' or disable it completely by unticking the box.

    I went for ClearType and HATED it at first, but after a few weeks of use I've grown rather fond of it.
