    leadtek a250le ti4200 60mm fanmod.

    hi

well i was a tad bored past couple of days (besides having to format 2 comps due to virus) so i decided to set about removing that annoying rattling clicky 40mm fan from my leadtek ti4200.
the problem was finding a siutable replacement (also i didnt want to lose my nice ally heatsink) well i couldnt find a siutable 40mm replacement and it also meant ide have to loose my heatsink so i decided to get out my dremel and mod the existing heatsink to accomodate a 60mm fan:

i have to say im very happy with the end result and can replace the fan with ease anytime i want to now, also think a graphics card looks alot meatier using a 60mm fan after this mod, slightly reminiscent of a 9800xt

    thnx

Xts can run 450mhz+ core, and a fairly higher mem clock
