Can this right, I'm reading that the latest possible release date for Nvidia's 9800x2 GPU could be set for March 18th? This maybe the release date also for the 790i chipset?
There's talk that the 9800x2 will be set to arrive at approx. $600? which should relate to about £300 but more often than not doesn't, so who knows it will be be probably be around £380??? because it never works out like that here does it! :rant:
IF this is the case then it makes the 3870x2 even more appealing. :O_o1:

yeah, it'll work out around the £350 - £400 mark..
you have to remember that the US has much lower VAT prices than we do.
that's the reason for things being more expensive..
and all the compaies have to pay higher taxes in this country.

but tbh.. i think this new 9800GX2 is gonna be a brilliant card, and considering it's cheaper than an 8800 Ultra, what the hell did they do with the 8800 Ultra to make it sooo expensive! :S
Yes that's what I reckoned. :surprised: So me thinks I will stick with my original plan and get a 3870x2, though I do believe that a updated 3870x2 is planned for June?, not forgetting the talk of the next generation of cards the 4000 series. :crazy:Quote:
