Hi, i run my Dreamcast off a VGA box, and the VGA box has an adio input for my speakers, no problem.
Bt lets say if i connected a Gamecbe or something to the monitor, how would i get audio? I don't know of a way so far to run the monitor to my amp/speakers!

I don't have a gamecube so I maybe giving you a bad answer. If your game cube has 3 wires coming out the back of it, Yellow, Red and White then I'm sure this will work.
Yellow goes into the VGA box, you can buy a RCA extension cable and hook up the Red and White off the GC to the amp.
