Sapphire 3870x2 512Mb - performance?

Thing is, I can't find anything about this card on t'interweb.

All I'd like to know it how it stacks up to a 8800GT.

I'll probably be looking at 1650x1050 or whatever my 22" widescreen monitor is

There's a possibility that both these shops have the title, description and image of this product wrong.

The part number specified is: 11122-09-50R

A quick search into google reveals every other place (including dabs and yoyotech) selling this as a HD3870 512mb Toxic card by Sapphire, which explains the price and the 512mb (which ATI haven't made yet?)

Unless these two companies have their part number wrong and really are selling a hd3870x2 for this price. Wouldn't bet on it though.

I didn't think it was real either when it was posted the other day, althought DA computers isn't far so I might pop in and demand my X2 for £150 :D

I ordered one earlier. We'll see what happens.

If there isn't one I'll just get an 8800GT instead

get a print screen of that page! and if they send you a 3870 then make sure they give you a 3870X2 'cause that's what you thought you were buying :P

I don't have crysis...I'm getting it mainly for BF2 (then BF3) and UT3

UT3 :D

Doubt both. They'll just pull their card out and offer a refund, and Crysis doesn't scale well (barely at all) on multi-GPU set ups, be it SLi or Crossfire(X).

i'd have thought it'd run well on a card that's already joined..
how is STALKER on the graphics card btw?
i'm looking to get that for £7 from here.. someone's selling a few PC games.
