Ten more days and those who don't have a 8800 card can finally think towards upgrading to a GeForce 9 series card as the 9800 GTX is on its way to stores. One manufacturer that surely won't miss the April release is Asus and its very own GeForce 9800 GTX is detailed just below. The card itself is named EN9800GTX/HTDP/512M and it features everything you're expecting including - PCI-Express 2.0, DirectX 10.0 and OpenGL 2.0 support, 512MB of GDDR3 memory and triple-SLI.
Set to have stock clocks, Asus' card has the GPU at 675 MHz, the 128 Stream Processors at 1688 MHz and the memory at 2200 MHz while a factory-overclocked 'TOP' model is likely also in the works but will arrive at a later date (later than April 1st).
Boasting a 256-bit memory interface, Asus' 9800 GTX is basically your stock everything card with the exception of a lovely sticker. The price tag of this GeForce 9800 GTX will be under $350.
