    HD3850 Trinity! One board tri-crossfire!! Update(27/03/08): now with added benchmarks

    Tri-crossfire on one board!!

    It seems that HD3850 MXM modules also exist!! I wonder when these will find their way into notebooks!!??

    Here some benchmarks of the card:

    Seems to have 512mb RAM!

    it comes with it's own liquid cooling system.

    Granted that's just a prototype but wow it's pritty mad.

    I think the real biggy here is will this type of modular gpu find it's way into laptops and motherboards.
    Granted changeable graphics chips would be a major headache for laptops because of power consumption, but one dat you never know . . .

    and I do hope the 3850 finds it way onto laptops that would really set a new level for laptops.
