Computer hardware and software at amazing prices, available online from Scan Computers UK
Your gaming at 1920 x 1200 by the looks of your monitor in "my system" so you certianly will enjoy the performance of either card and neither would disappoint you i'm sure.
The GTX is very long, probably runs hotter (although I don't know that), deffinatly uses more power (hence why it probably runs hotter). It perhaps performs slightly better at this sort of resolution but the GTS overclocked will give almost identical performance.

Personally I'd go with a 8800gts 512mb but not that one, the BFG mentioned by staffsMike would be a good choisefactory oc to near enough the same level, better warranty and costs less

Having now also seen reviews of the underwhelming 9800GTX, I will probably be going with your suggestions of 8800GTS (once I decide on new mobo and having waited on Intel price cuts this month).
Cheers!

That's just because the 9800gtx is just an overclocked 8800gts 512, the 8800gtx is still a good card, just that the 8800gts 512 is better value for money as long as you don't pay more than £180![]()
