Sapphire Tech HD 2600XT 512MB AGP
I am very close to buying one of these cards for my old A7N266-VM mobo (AGP keyed for 1.5V), but I can't find anywhere where it says what voltage this card is keyed for.
Does anyone know this or maybe can suggest a place to find it out? Even the Sapphire Tech site says nothing about it!
Also if anyone knows any first hand knowledge / feedback about this card it would be great to know before I go raid the piggy bank. Cheers!
Re: Sapphire Tech HD 2600XT 512MB AGP
Your PSU isnt powerfull enough for that card, you risk blowing your entire system from straining it to hard...
from your other thread a few GFX cards and a PSU for god value depending on what you want to do with it that is.
Re: Sapphire Tech HD 2600XT 512MB AGP
AGP wise from ATI you are looking at the following from best to least best :p
HD 3850
X1950 XT
X1950 Pro
HD 2600 XT or X800 XT
HD 2600 Pro
X800 Pro
X1650 Pro
Unfortunately for you the top 3 are out of your price range unless you can grab a bargain on a well know auction site.
From your other thread you say you have a 300W PSU the important thing is how many Amps the 12v rail can support the should be a label on the side which will tell you.
Re: Sapphire Tech HD 2600XT 512MB AGP
and for Nvidia gaming-wise your only talking about a 7600GS (the GT isnt in stock on scan, or there just not selling them but Ebuyer - Cheap Computers, Laptops, Digital Cameras, TVs & more! is a good site for AGP gaming-ish Graphic cards
Inno3D 7600GT 256MB DDR3 128bit VGA DVI TV Out AGP Graphics Card - Ebuyer...
this is about the best your going to get AGPwise for from nvdia but dont get me wrong the people i know who have had this card loved it..deffently worth the money, dont take much to run it. its deffently in your budget aswell.
