    XFX 7600GT Overclock Temp/Speed Advice

Hi I'm overclocking my XFX 7600GT at the moment. The Temperature is 61-62 idle.

    Core clock: 570Mhz
    Memory clock: 725Mhz

Whats the max temp I want it at and how far should I over clock the two clocks?

Have you got any handy programs I could use to stress the card?

I directly controlled the fan on the card and put it on 100% is that good to have it like that all the time?

Re: XFX 7600GT Overclock Temp/Speed Advice

you can use a program called ATITool to stress test and monitor temps (and overclock) and yes it works fine with nVidia cards, but as others have said 61-62 idle is very hot
    Main - Intel Core i5 2300 @ 3.5GHz, 8GB DDR3 1333Mhz RAM, Asus P8P67 Pro, Coolermaster iGreen 600w, GTX 480, Antec One Case
