Graphics Cooler needed for ATI 3850

Just like the titles says. Anyone recommend a good cooler the the 3850. The reference cooler is annoying me some what. It gets too hot and is too loud when it actually does make a difference.

Love a cooler that pumps the air out the back of the case.

    Cheers

Re: Graphics Cooler needed for ATI 3850

Hard to find aftermarket coolers that vent outside the case.

Coolers that fit the 3850 are:
    thermaltake DuOrb
    Zalman VF900 Cu
Artic Cooling Accelero S1 revision2 (note the S2 does not fit)
    probably more

HIS use a IceQ cooler from Arctic Cooling on there card that does vent out of the rear of the case but I've not seen it sold seperately (best bet would be to contact AC and ask them )

Re: Graphics Cooler needed for ATI 3850

I would go artic cooling accelero s1 rev2 if it fits, its done a bloody marvelous job on my 8800GT Load tempts are a full 30C cooler than the stock cooling (70C to 40C) on mine, obviously not sure on operating temps on the 3850 are like but the solution is also very very quiet even with the turbo module attached

My whole system is water cooled except my graphics card. I find it hard to bother spending £60 on a EK block when the card is only worth £100 or so. I will buy a new 4000 series card when they come out in the next few weeks and water cool this.
