xfire on a p35 chipset and an x38 (please keep replying to my post as i always reply)

is there any performance gain between a p35(asus p5k) to x38 (asus p5e3)...

the reason i ask is my corsair dominator blew the other day and i have applied for rma returns. the stick that blew was brand new?

just wondering, if i have to send the memory back to corsair is it worth getting more sticks of memory. Or just changing my board, as i have been stuck on this 1 as i like the look of the p5e3

the p5e3 has ddr3, x38 chipset and has 2 true pci-express lanes (full x16 lanes)

if i bought this motherboard i would get xms3 1333mhz

will this setup show me more performance?? i also have an
e6600 fitted with scythe nnja rev.b with 120mm blue l.e.d. fan,
xfire gigabyte 3870 x 2 cards fitted with thermaltake duorb coolers,

    all help much appreciated

it'll boost your GFX performance by at leasst 20%, as a result of the full bandwith being provided to the full PCIe lane... I'd suggest you do it.
