    HP w2207h HDMI problem

Recently got myself this monitor, using DVI -> HDMI dongle and the HDMI cable which came with the monitor. Problem I have is that the picture doesn't fit to screen... even with the option set in monitor options. It has black bands around the edges about 1" thick.

Using the analog cable works fine, but I am wondering why it doesn't fit to screen using the digital connection?

    Thanks for any replies!

Are you sure the res hasnt defaulted to 1280x720 (720p) using the HDMI cable? If it has then you will have black bands to fill the empty space as the monitors res is 1680x1050.

    Re: HP w2207h HDMI problem

Fixed this now, in graphics drivers it set itself to 15% underscan with the HDMI cable for some reason, put it to 0% and A-ok now .
