Also will I have to by a new PSU because I don't have one the supports the power slots on the GX2. If so could you suggest a good cheap one.
Re: New pictures GeForce 9900GTX!!!
Yes supposedly both the next get nvidia and AMD cards out in June. Both are built on an entirely new core (as opposed to G92/G90).
Re: New pictures GeForce 9900GTX!!!
lol well we already had pictures of the board and pictures of the cooler.. added together.. you get the above :)
How cheap did you want the PSU to be? Obviously if you want a goodun they do cost a pretty penny.
Re: New pictures GeForce 9900GTX!!!
I think I read the new nvidia cards will be numbered 200 this time around. Odd but then perhaps they're saving ink.
I'm hoping ATI cards win this one - we need AMD back to the top in order to keep things competative.

I'd wait to see the new cards released and then buy a PSU. You'd be buying without knowing the power requirements, and not needing to...
If I'd had to get a PSU right now for a single card high-end setup I would certainly not go for a cheap one. I'd be leaning to the Enermax MOD82+ 625W. Then again, I like it to be quiet as well.

PSU + Cheap = Bad times ahead. Get a good value for money PSU. I hope you don't mean cheap as in £20 for a 700W PSU :)
Re: New pictures GeForce 9900GTX!!!
Although the 700W FSP PSU which is on Scan's today only quite regularly is a very good psu at only £32!!!

apart from that one :D
You should get any "cheap" Corsair, Seasonic, FSP, Enermax, Tagan, Silverstone, Coolermaster, OCZ, AKASA, XClio (have I missed any other good ones?) PSU's. But most of them aren't cheap but the build quality, longevity, performance and efficiency is way more than what you'd get on the unbranded cheap tat ones.
Re: New pictures GeForce 9900GTX!!!
Well I have £260 and I'm willing to spend that on one of the new nvidia graphics cards in June and depending on the card I'm probably gonna need a new PSU so sugeestions?
Re: New pictures GeForce 9900GTX!!!
I'd say modular, and any of the ones in my previous post. Corsair are good, the only part I have a problem with is their non braided cables. Don't like it at all. The Enermax ones are top as well but the prices are top too :)
I say take a look at Scans PSU range or other websites and choose a PSU you like best. Ask our opinions on it and we'll let you know. If it's a brand from my previous post then it's decent.
Re: New pictures GeForce 9900GTX!!!
Anyone know how much the new nvidia cards are gonna cost?
Re: New pictures GeForce 9900GTX!!!
Can anyone recommend a good PSU for under £60

Cool but no 8pin do you think the new cards will need it?
