    20"-24" For a PS3 And PC

Hello, just bought a PS3 today with the aim of using it on my 2005FPW Dell 20" Widescreen TFT.

Lo and behold it does not work on it as it is not HDCP compatible or some **** like that.

So I need a new TFT, preferably between 20" and 24" in size, I have seen the new 2408 and that looks very nice but at £400 is very expensive.

So, I need it with as many inputs as possible and preferably HDMI. I currently use S-Video and DVI on my 2005FPW with TV and Computer.

So I would probably need, HDMI, DVI and S-Video at an absolute minimum on the new monitor.

    Has anyone got any recommendations?

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Have the same issue, although specifically a 24".

Is 1:1 pixel mapping needed for the PS3 tho?

    Re: 20"-24" For a PS3 And PC

the 2005 uses a type of TFT called Super-IPS. most sub-£400 screens don't, they use a type of TFT called TN+Film. why does this matter? well, TN+Film is SIGNIFICANTLY inferior technology, and gets more and more noticeable the bigger the screen is (the main effect being a terrible vertical viewing angle, so you won't see a thing unless sat directly in front of the screen)

if you want something which looks at least as good as your current screen, you need to buy an S-IPS or PVA/MVA screen - a TN+Film will be a downgrade for you.

    Hyundai W241D

I have one of these, and it's lovely. I have my HD-DVD player hooked up via HDMI, an XBMC modded Xbox hooked up via component, and an HTPC hooked up with DVI. The HD-DVD and HTPC are outputting 1080p with no issues.

Was £441 when I got it though, prbably above your budget.
