Apparently it only works with Galaxy 9600GSO.. I found it here, but the shop looks dodgy...

EDIT: you might need the Overclock version which is here, although I think its wholesale there

second link is to a GT SiM, ill keep an eye on this, but i really dont think this will work. theres fusing off pipelines and shaders and then theres adding memory chips that you aren't intending to use... seems mad

HARDSPELL.COM-Change GALAXY 9600GSO to 8800GT and tested

apparently they could be selling some 8800gts's as 9600gso's. why the christ they would do that i have no idea.. does nvidia control pricing to a certain extent on different models so they have had to rebrand the cards then leak the "how to" in order to drum up the interest and get around it?
