Driver Related Problems

Hi,

I'm currently experiencing issues with my GPU whilst playing games. Basically, I can run the applications for a certain amount of time before I get a driver failure, causing the screen to go black for about 2-5 seconds randomly. The driver usually recovers and puts me back into the game, though just tonight it was unable to do so and I got a bluescreen crash.

The card in question is an ATi Radeon X1300/X1550 series (in a Dell Xps 210); and in keeping with the cards abilities I am not doing any high end gaming. In fact, most of my gaming is just World of Warcraft and on that fairly outdated engine I can easily achieve 30-50fps. The problem seems to be entirely driver related, as the error message reads somewhere along the lines of "The driver atikdamg has stopped responding but has recovered". Something like that, since the bluescreen crash I'm concerend about repeating the situation.

I have downloaded the latest drivers from Dell, Ati and as far as I am aware I have the latest updates from Microsoft...I'm just at a bit of a loss as to what could be causing it. I'm sure there are quite a few things it could be. Hope someone out there has a clue as to what to do, it's really frustrating.
