    24" Monitor Advice

Yes another monitor advice thread but thats why we are all here.

    I'm looking for a 24" monitor with;
    1:1 pixel mapping
    HDMI slot
    Not TN panel
    Good response rate

And hopefully as cheap as possible. I have read about the Dell 2408 and am slighlty concerned about the input lag and was wondering if anyone had another recommendation?

The OcUK Value 24" has a PVA panel & pretty sure that it has HDMI.
    don't know about 1:1 mapping.
    see thread http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/sho...php?t=17806175

It's also sold by Aria & Misco as a Yuraku - normally ~£210.

No this one doesn't. It's DGM screen which doesn't support HDCP and obviously no HDMI. Though it's a great screen nevertheless.
have a look at Misco's offer. It has PVA panel and HDMI-to-DVI cable, though no HDMI on the screen itself.

I've done my research for this and the 2408 is the best option by a huge amount, there is a Samsung 245T but that is upwards of £600.

    Re: 24" Monitor Advice

got the hyundai w240-pva. its a great monitor, no input lag that i can notice. its about the same price/slightly cheaper than the dell. it doesn't have displayport but if input lag is a really concern for you, then you could do alot worse than consider the hynudai

OcUK guarantee a VA screen (apparently some versions of it aren't).
the Misco 1 that you linked is the same basic monitor albeit badged as a Yuraku rather than a Digimate & as i mentioned also available from Aria .

    Re: 24" Monitor Advice

I put another vote in for the Hyundai. I got one to use as a 1080p screen to hook my NAS HTPC up to (as well as an HD-DVD player & XBMC modded Xbox) and it's great. I've watched a fair few things on it via the DVI port (the PC) and the HDMI port (the HD-DVD player) and they all look great.
