    Re: Leadtek GeForce GTX280

What case you got and what's the exact size of that case? Aswell as the exact sizes of the card itself, including all the wires attached to it (space to manouvre a bit)
I'm thinking of getting the GTX260, it's same size as far as I know, but a bit doubtfull if it even gona fit in the Antec Three Hundred case =p

    Re: Leadtek GeForce GTX280

    Hi Nova, shes quite large:

    Appprox:

    260mm x 90mm (L x W)

The cables are dependant on your PSU

My case is a Lian LI V1100 Plus II and it quite long, as rule of thumb id say you need at least 20/30mm clearance from the side of your motherboard to your drive bays.

That case looks amazing, very clean job, always wanted a Lian-Li, was it optional BTX?

    Re: Leadtek GeForce GTX280

Not bad, hey kalniel have we met before... Atari Forums by any chance?

This thing runs quite hot, especially the casework.. current temps so far are:

    Approx Idle: 45-57°C
    Approx Load 77-79°C

Supprisingly the fan is very quite in my oppinion, but i came from the X1900XTX which WAS loud!

Casework (Particularly the side vents) Varies between 40-60°

Quite possibly, what's your nickname over there?

That's a good thing really - shows heat is being transferred away from the components properly.
