    Softmod / Upgrade a Geforce 4MX?

    Hello,

    Just wondering for a mate - is it possible to softmod a GF4 MSI MX 8xAGP card so that it thinks it's a TI ?

    nope, they use very different cores. The memory is also different (what MX is it ?, it might even be SDR !).

    GF4mx is basicly a GF2 with a few things strapped on iirc.

    yeah you could probably flash it with a Geforce 2 bios... wouldnt that be fun?

    I had a few GF4 mx's once, even had the SD version at one point. I then got a TI4200 followed by a 9800 and whaorrrrrrr tbpfh

    As for the bios flash you have no chance at all - sorry
