Black screen when using 2 different cards

So I thourght before it was a 4870 issue, but after plugging in a 8600 I am getting the same kind of problem with the monitor/card just losing signal.

So it can't be a problem with the cards, so whats wrong?

    Thanks

Re: Black screen when using 2 different cards

As a wild guess, I'd say either the monitors had it, or you have a bad VGA to DVI connector?
    Every little helps!
