Well I got the Asus 8800GS from ebuyer for £45 and am selling my old 7900GTO for £35 so...bargain!
I decided to do a little test as I like to know I made the right choice...well I did in this case!
Specs in images below, Crysis was a custom cfg which looked a bit ugly but played 'ok' 1440 res.

I loaded up a few Crysis saves and took the fps, simply but effective!

Ok so not the most detailed review but it clearly shows vast improvement, more than i'd have thought to be honest! I'm now playing at everything high except for shadows (low) and post processing (medium)
7900GTO is a bit quieter, not much to be fair.
7900GTO is dual slot but expels some air from the case.
Well worth an upgrade from the old 79XX range!

with 1 card i got a 3dmark06 score of 2564 and with both cards i got a score of 2739. someone please help.
