New 22" monitor which of these should I get
I'm looking at 2 22" monitors an LG and a Hyundai which should I get
If I get the LG I'll get it from Ebuyer its this one
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/143051
or this Hyundai

Will get it from scan though coz of free delivery.
Suggestions as you can see from price of both I dont want to spend a fortune.

I'd go with the Hyundai, the LG doesn't even have a DVI-Input.
Re: New 22" monitor which of these should I get
Spec-wise, Hyundai looks better, for higher native contrast and DVI input (LG only has D-SUB). LG's more stylish, but that shouldn't be a deciding factor =)
PS Ebuyer has free delivery as well, just choose "within 5 working days" - which is usually 2 working days anyway.

Don't forget the Dell option I put in guys :)
Re: New 22" monitor which of these should I get
@Lowe I'm not a big fan of Dell ;) Might be good, though, at that price.

Then you're missing out big time... 'coz their larger screens at least (24"+) are among the best available :)

Anything larger than 22'' is out of my budget, so not bothered
Re: New 22" monitor which of these should I get
I got my 24" Yuraku PVA pannel for £190..although I guess even that is out of your budget. So as everyone else says, a cheap 22" with a DVI input is the way to go, they are all quite similar at the bottom of the range.
Re: New 22" monitor which of these should I get
Well I went for the Hyundai BlueH 22" from scan. not had a real play with it but text is crisp and sharp colour seems ok aswell not tried any games other than css stress test. I'm at work looks fine though only getting 14-20 fps on a ati x1500 (work pc) when I lowered the res a bit and got better fps it was smooth so I think gaming should be ok as well. Its not a great looker but so long as the image is ok I dont care and so far its better than the 17" its replaced.

Likewise, but Scan were out of stock. Ordered from an unknown - ePCBuyer, and it arrived this morning at half 7. Can't fault that since I ordered it at half 2 yesterday!
Great monitor for the money :)
Re: New 22" monitor which of these should I get
Recommend the Hyundai over the Dell? im about to get a new monitor on a £300ish budget, but cant decide whether i want to get either:
2x 22" (either a dell E22wfp or anything recommended?) ~£150 ea
1x 24" (probably a Dell E248WFP or the Yaraku) ~£248/£200 respectively
Just in a complete confusion what to go for, will be used for 3d work, Gaming (pc+360) and general browsing etc.
22" is great as can use dual screen which is incredibly useful for doing 3D work and leisure too, the resolution is good and supported by the 360 and plenty big coming from a single 19" widescreen
24" is obviously a good resolution though, only problem is that 1900x1200 is not supported by 360 and wont be in the august update (i think?) which is why im considering the dell for 1:1 pixel mapping. Then the Yaruku is a PVA panel which is great for what ill be using it for, but no 1:1 pixel mapping and i have heard reports of it generally breaking easily. A friends has pink bleed within a months use and someone on this forum had problems too.
any recommendation's on what i should go for?
Re: New 22" monitor which of these should I get
Must admit I was looking last night for a cheap monitor, I ruled out the LG for no dvi (although I've never been that sure about how much of a loss it it) the Hyundai looks good for the price :)
Also saw an intresting looking 20" on novatech for £116
And people please remember that after 22" the resolution increases, so there's no point sudgesting a 24" if the graphics card will struggle with the higher resolution.
When you're shopping on a budget haveing to pay more for a larger monitor, then haveing to pay for a new graphics card to go with it, is not an option.
It means the budget has just gone from £150 to £350-400
Re: New 22" monitor which of these should I get
Custom PC reviewed a 24" Hyundai this issue, can't remember the model name but it was a budget model. They found that the monitor used a premium Samsung panel, but Hyundai's dodgey electronics produced ghosting and blurriness especially when viewing text. They concluded that if these niggles could be sorted out in a future revision then they would make very high quality screens at a very good price. I don't know if you guys have noticed any of these issues?
