New NVIDIA PhysX Drivers Leaked
There have been reports of people enabling Physx's on the GT200/G92/G96 and even the G80 NVIDIA cards.
The new Physx Software can be found here.
Only NVIDIA drivers 177.39 and upwards work with the Physx driver.
177.79 WHQL Candidate Drivers:
177.79 - Windows Vista 32
177.79 - Windows Vista 64
177.79 - Windows XP 32
177.79 - Windows XP 32
Most Physx gamers seem to work although, Cellfactor is one that many people cannot get to work.
Re: New NVIDIA PhysX Drivers Leaked
I've been useing the 77.39 for a while now on my 9800gtx, it's a solid driver so far, and while physX is running (I can run the demos/tests fine) i've not got any games useing it yet, mainly due to the lack of any PhysX games.
The only one I do have is City of Heroes/Villians but it will not let me enable the PhysX :(
Any tips on a good game to test it? anything with free demo download would be good ;)

It looks like a very fun play around with walls/stairs/floors being destructable.
Re: New NVIDIA PhysX Drivers Leaked
Try this with unreal tornamment 3 and hardware physics enabled in the options. Tornado is a good map that shows what physx can do. also i saw no slow down with these drivers.

Re: New NVIDIA PhysX Drivers Leaked
I tried the UT3 demo and physx pack and got so frustrated just ting to get in installed and running I gave up.
Just tried Warmonger and it was jerky and unplayable. cannot tell if it's useing the physx on the graphics card or just running it on the cpu.
Looks sort of fun though, like redfaction was. :)

Re: New NVIDIA PhysX Drivers Leaked
I got all the drivers yesterday I haven't had time to install them. I will try and do it soon and get some UT3 in :D also downloaded Warmonger last night. Will give that a go.
Re: New NVIDIA PhysX Drivers Leaked
How do you uninstall the old PhysX drivers? Or is just installing over them good enough? I'm using the 8.06.12 drivers...
