L226WTQ not working in Digital Mode

Hi folks, looking for some help on an issue with my LG L226WTQ LCD monitor:

I have been connecting my moitor to my NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS using the analog port on the monitor for 6months and it has worked fine.

I recently purchased a DVI-D cable (single link) so as to have a digital connection. However when I plug it in I do not get a picture in windows. It works fine during boot up (low resolution) but when windows loads it the monitor goes in to sleep mode.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

This may be a little extreme but it should work...

Uninstall the graphics card drivers, then when you're asked to restart click later / no, and instead shut down the PC. Now open up your case and reset the CMOS on the motherboard (make sure you've written down any overclock settings first). Now swap the VGA cable for DVI, power up, and cross your fingers.

Re: L226WTQ not working in Digital Mode

try unplugging the power from the monitor, this will reset it and when you trun on yor pc then turn on the monitor it should pick it up (i have the issue sometimes with mine when i swap channels on different pc's - vga on 1 pc & dvi on the other)
