    Is my graphics card dieing.

I was playing call of juarez in DirectX 10 (I don't know if that makes any difference) for about half an hour and then my screen went white, If i moved i could hear footsteps so the game was still running, and then i pressed esc and after about 10 seconds the screen went black, i moved my mouse about and i could hear the menu options being highlighted.

I then pressed ctrl alt del, and in vista this takes you to some screen where you can lock the computer and of course select task manager, this all looked fine, so i selected task manager which took me back to the desktop as usual but everything was messed up! I managed to end the call of juarez task but everything was still like that. I managed to restart and when it was shutting down that screen was fine too, now it's restarted and everything is back to normal, here is what the screen looked like:

load temps vary from 69c to 90c in extreme cases, while playing call of juarez though the temperature was 83.

Had a similar thing with a 8800GTS 320Mb, just after installing latest NVIDIA drivers. 24 hours later the card was dead. What card are you using?
