    Graphics for Sony FW140 SERIES

Hi, Recently bought a brand new sony FW140EH laptop. Though the price was affordable the display was not expected from sony. Later I found that the Graphics card was very low end that is GMA 4500 . I am planning to go for some good graphic card. Can any one suggest what shall I do? If I go good one what should I choose and is it easy to replace with the existing one. My purpose is multimedia and low end games. Not a good gamer.

Hmm I don't know how easy or viable it would be to replace it? I've never really seen any graphics cards for laptops on sale, so i'm assuming they are all integrated in to the main boards. But maybe I'm wrong.

Re: Graphics for Sony FW140 SERIES

Well GMA 4500 in integrated and most laptop graphics cards are soldiered in anyway which makes them very difficult if at all possible to upgrade yourself.

No to mention as above, it's actually very difficult to buy these parts off the shelf.

The one thing you have to do when buying a laptop is make sure it does everything you want it to straight out of the box.
