How many FPS do you consider minimum in a game?

Just wanted to split the other thread off a little bit. I'd like to do a little experiment

Its nice and simple, quote the following and fill the missing bits in. If you don't know one, be honest and say so

    Code:
I consider the minimum playable FPS for my games to be:
I consider the maximum FPS that I can perceive to be happening:
I consider the 'limit' the eye can see to be around 30FPS: yes or no
I consider the 'limit' the eye can see to be around 60FPS: yes or no
I consider the 'limit' the eye can see to be higher than 60FPS: yes or no
I'll do a follow up post with some things that may be quite surprising to some of you

Re: How many FPS do you consider minimum in a game?

I consider the minimum playable FPS for my games to be: Depends on the game, slow paced 30FPS is fine fast paced would be aiming for 60FPS
I consider the maximum FPS that I can perceive to be happening: Under what circumstances on a monitor or in real life? My eyes are analogue so I don't think they are going to work in FPS, however I can see the difference between 30 and 60 FPS if that answers the question?
I consider the 'limit' the eye can see to be around 30FPS: NO
I consider the 'limit' the eye can see to be around 60FPS: NO
I consider the 'limit' the eye can see to be higher than 60FPS: YES

I consider the 'limit' the eye can see to be around 30FPS: no... faced paced games show up a low frame rate
I consider the 'limit' the eye can see to be around 60FPS: yes
I consider the 'limit' the eye can see to be higher than 60FPS: no because on a stabdard 60hz monitor you cannot see more than 60fps due to the refresh per second rate

Re: How many FPS do you consider minimum in a game?

I consider the minimum playable FPS for my games to be: 20FPS (too many games with an old fx5700 )

I consider the maximum FPS that I can perceive to be happening: 50 (don't really care about more above that, though I certainly can notice it if the frame rate isn't steady and there are dips).

I consider the 'limit' the eye can see to be around 30FPS: no

I consider the 'limit' the eye can see to be around 60FPS: yes

I consider the 'limit' the eye can see to be higher than 60FPS: no

Re: How many FPS do you consider minimum in a game?

I consider the minimum playable FPS for my games to be:
    Arround 30 fps.

I consider the maximum FPS that I can perceive to be happening:
Arround 100 fps (but to be honest, I don't know what would be bad in having to high fps? My fps simply never passed 100 in any game I checked it on, hence the answer)

I consider the 'limit' the eye can see to be around 30FPS: yes or no
    No.

I consider the 'limit' the eye can see to be around 60FPS: yes or no
    Yes.

I consider the 'limit' the eye can see to be higher than 60FPS: yes or no
    No.

Re: How many FPS do you consider minimum in a game?

I consider the minimum playable FPS for my games to be: 30

I consider the maximum FPS that I can perceive to be happening: 100

I consider the 'limit' the eye can see to be around 30FPS: no

I consider the 'limit' the eye can see to be around 60FPS: no

I consider the 'limit' the eye can see to be higher than 60FPS: yes

However the minimum does vary for me depending the game. If I'm playing something slow like C&C then anything above 20 would be fine, but if I'm playing a fast paced first person shooter, then something like 35 to 40 would me minimum.
