    24" Acer Monitor

Acer G24 Widescreen Gaming LCD Monitor @ OCUK this week for £323.11 inc VAT is that good value? Or are there other brands with similar models for less?

    24" at £323? Seems like a lot for 24", but I can't comment on quality of G24...

    Re: 24" Acer Monitor

Price will really depend on the panel type if its a TN then its a bit expensive, PVA or IPS and its in the ballpark so to speak.

The Dell monitors are well respected and worth a look particularly the 2408WFP, the hyundai 240D is a nice monitor as well with the PVA panel a good monitor for £295. The Hazro HZ24Wi is a nice monitor with an aluminium bezel uses an S-IPS panel but will cost a bit more you should be able to find it for £390, if budget is more of an issue the OCUK Value monitor is supposed to be of reasonable quality http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=MO-026-OK but still has a PVA panel.

Oh and if your heart isn't set on a 24" monitor the is the Lenovo L220x 1920x1200 resolution still but smaller pixels for a sharper image cost ~£295 available from Dabs

Or you could wait for the new BenQ 1920*1080 22" monitors available next month for £150 apparently!
