    nVidia 7900gt or 8600gt for Video Playback

    Which would be best for video playback? HD & non-HD video.

    Looking to buy a second hand card on ebay & the 7900gt are a bit cheaper.

    Would be using a E2180 cpu

    Not fussed about gaming and no ATI due to poor Linux support

    definitely the 8600gt. but a ATI 3450 will be much better than both
