Sounds like the back light is dying, you can probably get it replaced but if it is economic to do so I have no idea.

check warranty, 3 year on-site (a swap out) is fairly standard for monitors.

Also can you be a bit more descriptive than "warming up"

    Re: Belinea 20.1" TFT

Only big problem is that Belinea has gone bust so warranty replacement wont happen.what happens with the monitor is when u switch it on after being off over night the switch lights up but the screen doesnt show up as it should, but it does work after about 5-10 mins of leaving it on and then switching it off and then back on

Sorry to bring back this old thread, but I also have the exact same problem, with the exact same monitor. Is there anyway to get this problem fixed?

    Re: Belinea 20.1" TFT

My understanding is that Belinea (MaxData) did fund their warranty business and that it is still possible to make contact and obtain support for their monitor products.
Then again I may be completely imagining this so please don't shoot me!
Whether they are any good is another question entirely.
I will see if I can find any contact info.

    Re: Belinea 20.1" TFT

Over at Overclockers.co.uk they have a 26" Belinea monitor for sale, and in the description it states that it has a 3 year warranty, and they also provide a number to ring if you need warranty support. Maybe we can ring that number and get the 102035W fixed aswell.

    The number is 01344 788910
    Also try: 01344 788920

I would try it myself, but my main monitor (Acer G24) has been sent back for repairs, and the 102035W is all I have to use at the moment. So i need it untill Acer send me my G24 back. Once I get that back, i'll try that number.

If anyone else wants to give it a try, be my guest, and post your results.

Edit: just found another number while searching google: 0800 1694257

Well I must apologise to all for potentially misleading people - after further checks my advice now is to stay well clear of Belinea!
The UK numbers go nowhere, the UK warranty was taken over by the Dutch part of MaxData and they were completely unhelpful and there is supposed to be a another mob in Germany who might be able to help.....just check out how much it costs to ship a monitor to the continent.
Consign Belinea (MaxData) monitors to the dustbin of IT history forthwith - AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

    Re: Belinea 20.1" TFT

Can someone provide any link or prove all point made above about Belinea having gone bust and not dealing with warrenty issues?

I recommended Belinea to my Dad because I had their CRTs in the past and they were very decent.
Good 3 years warranty as well.

Maxdata has gone bust and that has taken the Belinea brand down with it - simple as that.
There may well be some stock left in the channel for sale but that doesn't mean you are going to get a warranty replacement down the line in two years time believe me.
I am not here to 'prove' anything - I simply try and help by providing info as best I know it my friend.
If that isn't good enough for you then go google it and stop being so lazy!
Better still by a Belinea monitor and tell us how you get on LOL.
