9600pro overclocking
i've just got a Sapphire Atlantis 9600pro 128mb card and have installed the drivers from the disk and also the newest drivers from ATI, but when i try to use Riva Turner to overclock the card it says there are no drivers installed.
anyone got any ideas??
i had a Ti4200 installed before and i have used Driver Cleaner2 to get rid of all the excess files before i installed the ATI drivers so that should not be a problem.
but any help would be appreciated.

I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think ATI drivers allow overclocking (at least not much, anyway). Try the Omega drivers - www.omegacorner.com

Omega drivers are very nice. No problems with any games yet! :)
Also, clocked my card from 500/300 to at least 570/350. :D

I think it was from something like the 3.4s that ATi restricted overclocking. Might be mixing my toasties, though :>

Try using a different overclocking software like ATITool and have DX9b installed (if not already) as well. AFAIK, all 9600Pro cards do not have a BIOS lock that inhibits them to be overclocked. Only the lower end cards such as 9000np/9100/9200 were all locked from overclocking.
