    Dual Screen setup

I've got a 20" Samsung Syncmaster Monitor (think thats it's name lol) with a native res of 14:9.

Yesterday I moved my room around and now have my tv, a 24 inch LG 22LS4D-ZB, native res of 16:10, side by side with my monitor.

Graphics card is Nvidia 8800GTS 640mb.

Have monitor connected and working fine, and when I connect my tv it shows up on the computer. I can choose what sort of setup, but none work. Nothing ever shows up on my tv. Just says "No Signal". When I select the input, there is:

    Dtv
    tv
    av1
    av2
    component
    rgb
    hdmi

No matter what one I select it doesn't work (I figured it should be the rgb input?), always just says "No Signal."

Tried setting the resolution for each screen seperately, but nothing ever works.

Anyway I can set it up? Anyone have this tv so they could give it a try for me? I'd really appreciate it. Cheers

My mouse even goes right off the screen, so the computer definately thinks it's outputting to 2 screens. Think there could be a problem with the tv?

    Re: Dual Screen setup

What resolution is the second screen set to? If it is set higher than the TV can accept then it may not display anything. Try setting the resolution as low as you can go or to the native resolution if you know what it is and see if that helps.

    Re: Dual Screen setup

On the tv, I set the native res to 4:3. Then set the resolution to 800*600... same results - "no signal."

    Re: Dual Screen setup

Nope, doesn't have anything like that.

I've had it working before, like a few months ago, but can't get the 2 monitors set up together (or even using the tv as the main screen).

    Re: Dual Screen setup

Hi, is this running via a TV card or is the LG actually a TV? If via TV card I noticed the recent nvidia driver releases do not let me have TV showing on the secondary monitor if i am running anything full screen on the primary

    Re: Dual Screen setup

The LG is actually a tv, bought to be used for virgin and my xbox, but as it has a convenient vga input, I thought I was as well make use of it and try and set up dual screen.
