    Hdcp

Am thinking of changing my monitor have shortlisted the following Dell models the S2309W and S2409W. My concern is I was told to get an HDCP ready screen which the S2309W has on the DVI input.
I cannot get any concrete evidence regarding the S2409W as to if its on the DVI and or HDMI inputs. Ive left messages at Scan and a few other places and all I get are links to the website page.
Finally is HDCP really a neccessity? Monitor will perform normal duties plus playing the odd DVD some of which will be Bluray.

    Cheers

    Re: Hdcp

Have an HD camcorder and will shortly be producing HD dvds of hols etc. So will need a Bluray writer so thought why not get a decent monitor too, though will be getting a Bluray stand alone player for main TV so have alternative on which to watch Bluray apart from PC.
