    what gfx card to get?

    ive just pre ordered a 23" samsung monitor (2048x1152 resolution) and am thinking about getting the BFG 260 ocx maxcore graphics card to power it, would this card be sufficient for such a high resolution?

    does anyone know whats goin on with this graphics card anyway, its not in stock anywhere, on scan it says it should have come in on nov 14th :0

    MicroDirect, like Overclockers, gives me the shivers.

    Both companies can be exceptionally bad if anything goes wrong. I would stick to Scan or EBuyer if you can.

    As for the availability, its the new core, perhaps nVidia are releasing them slowly as they move the manufacturing over to the new part and/or are trying to move old stock first......Don't forget there is an economic downturn at the moment effecting peoples purchasing.

    I've never had a problem with microdirect, but I suppose I only live 5 minutes away from them. So on the odd occasion when I have had to return something, it's been quick and simple. Their prices have always been good

    i live 5 mins away from overclockers lol, the last time i returned something we had an interigation and a two week wait just for them to confirm the part was faulty however the closeness is a benifit
