Hi, nope..32"samsung series 4 tv instead ... 16:9 letterbox should be adequate when using a PC.
game consoles at least the xbox 360 support 16:9 lettetbox on 16:10 monitors now.. since NXE I think.

Not really. You will find LCD TV though. Standard PC monitors come at 16:10 with much higher resolutions like 1680 x 1050 at 20"-22". Most PC monitors only come with VGA and/or DVI because they most monitors dont come with speakers, but there are always some exceptions.

That's a bummer! 32" Samsung for TV, that sounds pretty sweet actually! So what are you using for your computer at the moment then?

Re: Looking for a 16:9 19"-22" PC monitor

I'm using this 16:10 display in the future I'm looking for clean looking displays like this for example.. thin clean bezel, no buttons, speakers etc.
and still 16:10, the extra space up top and bottom is better for work I guess.

Re: Looking for a 16:9 19"-22" PC monitor

i see i see.... that sounds nice

By the way, would anyone else have had first hand impressions on the BenQ E2200HD? I really want to buy it, but while I'm still waiting to collect the cash for the unit, I'd want to hear some opinions on it?

    Anyone, at all?

Re: Looking for a 16:9 19"-22" PC monitor

If you are willing to go to a 23" monitor Dell have their 16:9 1920x1080 for £191.79 from ebuyer:

    http://www.ebuyer.com/product/151775

There are probably cheaper out there but seeing this monitor in action at a local pc world store it's a decent monitor

Got one of those S2309s recently from Dell, and I quite happily game on it.

Never got around to sticking my 360 through it though, got a 32" Toshiba for that

Re: Looking for a 16:9 19"-22" PC monitor

I suggest that you just have a shop around, but I would certainly recommend having a look on Dell's website as they often have some deals and special offers on, and their monitors, or at least their higher end range instead of their economy range are really good.

If in doubt, have a look at some reviews as theres loads out there and they should give you a general idea of which direction is best to go in at the minute.
