I looked at that, but it runs at quite high power - 60W (some 22" are 45W) - and there's no warranty info.
I'm a bit wary of these makes that appear, never heard of them, no real details.

Yea me too, It would be nice to have a good brand, but for like 40% extra or what ever im tempted to take a gamble...figuring if scan sell them so they cant be TOTALLY crappeh.
Kind of hoping some one about knows a nice branded monitor in budget, or has seen digimate's before
Did you find an alternative?
Thanks
Well just over budget is the Neovo but it was on "today only" for £118
Although for £96 that is a very tempting 22"
And sometimes these cheap brands can surprise you, my Edge10 died, they didn't quibble and did a swap out a week later (only time I could get off to be home for the courier)
It was a faulty inverter, the replacement is showing no signs of any fault.
3 years on site (swap out) is fairly common for monitors

Just bought the Neovo (and all but the RAM - that's from Crucial) today. It might be here tomorrow so I'll lash it on to my box and have a play :-)

Well, got that Neovo plumbed in - it's for a new PC for a mate but I had to check that it's OK!
Had to fiddle a bit until I tried 'Recall' and now it's really good. Have to go back to the 19" soon.

will do
What sort of things are you going to be looking for?
ps: you can see the loverly flowery wall paper in this room I havn't got round to changing yet![]()
The monitor arrived - its pretty much as expected to be honest.
Its good screen quality, no dead pixles etccant complain
The body of it does look a tiny but like cheap (polished) plastic that retains finger prints far to easy....but for the price a great monitor![]()
What's the screen quality like? any bleed around the edges?
Pic's!!!
If you've got an older/smaller lcd that this is replaceing then having them side by side when on would be good![]()
I have the digimate 24" PVA monitor and I love it. Ok the build quality isn't the best, and it is a bit chunky, but the screen is lush. For £91 you can't go wrong. I paid £140 for a 19" 4:3 not so long ago![]()
Mobo: DFI LP X48 LT T2R Bios 2008/12/24

GC: HIS 5870 @ 900/1300 - Eyefinity
Took a few pics (as requested) as I took it out the box - and wil take some more when its set up (including a close up of the edges)
Atm the I can fault it - no obvious bleeding round the edges (im not pro - dont really know what to look for but nothing I wolud call bleeding round the edges, compares to the samsung 913N 19" sitting next to it just fine)
When it came the auto button set it to a bit of an odd brightness...but thats hardly a problem
Only complain is that on a old and batterd shakey stand like this it looks like some one is lightly touching the bottom of screen where it meets the housing when you shake it - but thats the build quality and a bad monitor stand more than anything
What kind of pics are we after?
side by side with the samsung (both on) so we can see the brightness & colour/contrast (turn your camera flash off for good resaults)
good shot of the back would be handy.
+ any thing else you care to think of.
is the screen matte or glossy btw?
For edge bleed make the whole screen actively display black, if there's edge bleed it'll be lighter around the edges of the screen
(my cheap 19" non-widescreen lcd tv suffers from this on the top and bottom edges, which really shows on the black bars when watching a film)
And !timmy! I know what you mean I paid £110 for my 17" edge10 3 years ago![]()
Pic's? I've got my xmas bonus and it's just calling out to be spent on a new monitor.
