    XFX 8800GS 384MB DDR3 XXX Edition (680MHz)

Has anyone out there purchased one of these Graphics Cards, the reviews I have read are generally good, but would like to know first hand from folks using it. I know that there are a lot more expensive ones but this one appears mid-level and backward compatible. (thinking about COD5 / World at War)
My PC requires a better graphics card for this game, but rest system more than adequate.

Make sure that your PSU is upto the task before any major graphics card upgrade. I would personally look for a cheap 9600GT for around £70 or the 768mb GDDR3 version of the 8800GS/9600GSO for a similiar price if you can get it. The 384mb of RAM may become a limitation for future games.

If you are lucky you maybe able to get a much better 8800GT 512mb from PCWorld for 80 quid if they still have stock.
