    Will my PSU be enough?

    Hey,

Im looking to upgrade my dating 8800GTS 640MB to either a GTX 280 or a GTX 285 at the end of the month but im just wondering if my PSU will be able to take it.
My current one is a OCZ 700W.

    Thanks in advance.

It's definately enough. It needs a 6 pin and 8 pin connector though (GTX280) and probably the others are the same.

You mean the psu? If so then yes the psu does come with those connectors, 6pin and 8pin pci express which you connect into the gtx 280.

Since the 8 Pin one is fairly new, yeah most decent cards will come with one. My one from BFG came with a 2 x 6 Pin -> 1 x 8 Pin PCI-E adapter incase my PSU didn't have one and also a 2 x 4 Pin Molex -> 1 x 6 Pin PCI-E adapter. Just check what the contents of the box is if you're worried

yeah that PSU will be fine. I was running my 260GTX off a corsair 520w and that was fine, and thats about the same power draw as the new 285's
