    Novatech ATI Radeon HD4870 owners?

    Hi,

    Does anyone own this card?

    http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/s....html?NOV-4870

It looks good value, my only concern is how noisy is the cooler?

It is a Palit card so here is a review for it

    http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/P...c_Dual_Edition

Cooler seems to be noisy if that can be solved via software fan controls or a bios flash I don't know, the fan is certainly controllable as the noise level changes under load and the temps were good for the 4870 so slowing the fans would not be an issue heat wise.

Re: Novatech ATI Radeon HD4870 owners?

ive been looking at this card also, but the 1gb version as i hope to be gaming at 1920 x 1080

overclock.co.uk seem to be doing a good deal atm, £200 with them, any1 had experience buying from them?

some reviews said it was loud, but another stated that was the early version of the card and the newer version is much better noise wise
