I'm still on a 8800GTX which I bought when it was the daddy! Yes, all of 2 years ago. Progress huh?
Unfortunately, it's hooked up to an old 17" CRT so 1280 x 1024 is my resolution limit! Talk about excess processing power...

Still wating for the number of votes to exceed 200!!
Using really old 8600GT still xD
Don't really game that much now. It's still great for light gaming though? (Steam games )
Might upgrade to a 4670 but there's not much more point. Maybe in 2 years or so I'll get a 4870X2 haha. I don't like throwing all my hard earned part time money at my pc =( (I am only a student xD)
I've got a Sapphire HD 4870 1GB. With the way prices are slowly dropping hopefully it won't be too long before I get a 2nd one...
With 200 votes in the poll here is a non-scientific breakdown with NO stats:
1.) Only 6.5% of users have a dual core graphics card!!
2.) When it comes to newer generation gaming cards from late 2007 onwards ATI(RV670 + RV770) and Nvidia(G92 + GT200) seem to show a similiar percentage of users.
3.) The lower end G92 cards do not have a large percentage of users(3%) when compared to the lower end ATI cards(8.5%)
4.) A large number of Hexus members still use a DX9 card(14.5%)
5.) Most people who took part in the poll had DX10 gaming cards which are at least as powerful as an 8800GT. This means most people can run Crysis at more than 1280x800 in DX10 at medium settings!!
None of the above 7900GTX here
Anybody who has not voted - don't feel shy!!
Hey CAT - are you going to update the G92 list to include the GTS250 then?
You mean GTS250 don't you??
Basically this is a lower power 9800GTX+ with a different PCB.
Nvidia have rebadged the 128 shader G92 chip again!!
So far the saga continues:
8800GTS 512mb to 9800GTX to 9800GTX+ to GTS250
NOT to be confused with the 8800GTS 320mb and 640mb which were another franchise!!
Also in the same universe:
8800GT to 9800GT. There was going to be a GTS240 but due to the "common-sense" of some partners it was cancelled. They were getting a bit fed up of re-makes too it seems!!What do they know??!! I was looking forward to the next chapter of the G92 Jnr chronicles though!!
Don't get me started on the numerous 8800GS/9600GSO re-makes. I have seen them and they were rubbish!!
Meanwhile on planet Earth......(and not planet Nvidia).....!
The GTS250 is pitched against the HD4850. The former should slightly better performance and lower power consumption in theory. However it cannot compete against the cheaper HD4870 cards now flooding in below the £150 mark. Also the HD4830 competes against the 9800GT. However the RV740 GDDR5 which is set to replace the HD4830 is going to give stiff competition towards the 9800GT. Also the RV740 GDDR3 is going head to head against the 9600GT.
Also the HD4670 is also competing against the 9600GSO. The problem is that the former is a low power card with excellent performance whereas the latter is faster in some games but consumes more power and costs slightly more. Of course Nvidia do not have anything to compete with the HD4650 GDDR2 and GDDR3.
TBH Nvidia needs to either make more low cost superclocked versions of the 9600GT,9800GT and GTS250 and reduce the price of the GTX260 even more or actually introduce new chips to be able to compete more effectively in the sub £150 market.

With the HD4890 and GTX275 coming out and with the price drops in both the HD4870 and GTX260 it would be interesting to see if more people will get GT200 and RV770 based graphics cards!!
GTX295 FTW!
Yeah it CAN play crysis
