Running 3 monitors

How can my mate run 3 monitors off his PC? He has 2 running off of his ATI graphics card. His mobo only has one PCIe Slot which is used. Any help would be great.

He wants 3 screens as he trades etc. Thanks

He can fit a PCI card as well as running a PCIe card? It will work ok?

What about changing the Mobo for an SLI one and fitting 2 graphic cards and running 3 tft's off of them? Is that possible?

Yes, you can install as many PCI graphic cards as you like.

As to the monitor predicament get one of these 4x DVI FTW (and a better price) (that's a 4850X2 by the way if people can't be bothered to click the links ) alternatively you can get some USB based display adapters like this one http://www.ebuyer.com/product/139163

it all comes down to cost, if a new mobo is the answer get one with onboard VGA, that would be the most cost effective option of all

pci VGA is pants really but another cheap option

Just grab a PCI VGA card. Ideally of the same make as the primary graphics card. It's cheap, and it's very effective.

Yeah, any PCI card will be able to drive 2 19" with ease.
