Which HD4850??
Looking online on Scan I noticed several versions of the HD4850 by different manufacturers. I'm not really sure why, so I thought I'd post on here for clarity.
At the moment, I've got the Asus HD4850 sitting in my basket, simply because my Mobo is Asus too.
Thanks

Re: Which HD4850??
It makes no difference really, just some come with more cables adaptors, and some have quieter or better heatsinks, the ASUS is good! :)

and different warranty's.
that's another biggy when thinking of which GFX Card to buy.

Re: Which HD4850??
Seems fairly trivial then, think I'll stick with the Asus. Going fairly cheap on eBuyer at the moment. Cheers :)

How cheap?
http://forums.hexus.net/current-barg...850-108-a.html <--- Very pleased with mine, not sure if anyone else took the plunge with that or the GS Novatech one I found, which is in the thread too. Pretty much agree with everyone else re your original question.

Re: Which HD4850??
Best thing to do is look for good reviews with the card and different designers, if they unbox it yo u can see what you can expect to get, what kind of software and the warranty.

Re: Which HD4850??
If you plan on getting an S1 and want to use crossfire then the dual slot sapphire will let you do it with regular cables. The others will need special cables. Other than that usually its looking for a better HSF or going low on price.
