    Guaranteed no dead pixel service?

I'm sure I've seen a website offering (for a £10 charge) to guarantee no dead pixels on LCD monitor purchases, problem is I can’t remember what site I saw it on.

    Can anybody help?

I think it's Aria, My mate got an LCD from there for that very reason, only it had a stuck green pixel. I never had the heart to tell him though.

Aria offer a service, yep.. Starts at around a tenner, but gets expensive fast as they charge based screensize.

Was also sure I remember Dabs offering a similar service, but can't seem to find it on their website.

Remember Distance Selling Regs too! Do the maths on postage costs first and decide if its worth the gamble. Also have a look at Staples, they often have some nice screens in and the 14day money back deal means you can in theory go through their entire warehouse to find a screen your happy with lol.

I thought Samsung were offering a 3 year warranty against dead pixels on their monitors, Not sure if it applied to the UK though.

Re: Guaranteed no dead pixel service?

I've yet to see a Samsung monitor with a single dead pixel anyway.

Good point mehmeh, thank you for that. Also I'd completely forgot about Staples, I'm going past the one near me tomorrow so I'll have a look C.

Forget Aria, they are not a good company.

    PCBuyit do this for FREE!
