Gainward GeForce FX5900 128MB DDR 2.8ns AGP, "Ultra/1100TV-DVI", Retail
As recommended by Austin on this very forum only £117.50 and i think it's £5 for delivery in U.K.

Also as Austin has said in this thread here
http://forums.hexus.net/showthread.p...highlight=5900
it can be modded with a BIOS flash to a FX5950 Ultra!
I would recommend a Radeon 9800 Pro

although it is a bit over your budget.
You could also try a 9800 SE

although that might be a bit too low!

"Well, there was your Uncle Tiberius who died wrapped in cabbage leaves but we assumed that was a freak accident."
What is the "Lite-Retail" and what are the diffs between that and the full retail?
Also.. is that the same card as the one on OcUK (GX-017-SP) ?
The card itself is the same, the only difference is the stuff that gets bundled with it e.g. games, software, isn't included with Lite-Retail (Why can nobody spell light properly anymore? )Originally Posted by Auron

You can get a 9800 Pro 128Mb even closer to your budget here - it really is worth stretching for - enjoy...

This may be "Lite-Retail", though it is not labelled as such...
...all this means is that it doesn't come with any extras like games etc.
It is still the same great card...
